Central Networks delivers network service management for the health and care sector. It consists of N3, the current business as usual capability, and the development of a new provider model in the Public Services Network for Health (PSNH).
The N3 high-speed network makes it possible to deliver the reforms and new services needed to improve patient care.
The PSNH project will, on behalf of the NHS, develop options for what will be available when the current N3 contract comes to an end.
Update on N3 service arrangements (9 April 2014)
An agreement to continue to fund the N3 service from April 2014 has been established by the Department of Health, Cabinet Office, NHS England and the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) this week.
