Local Service Provider Delivery
Local Service Provider (LSP) Delivery supports the Department of Health in delivery against LSP contracts.
These are the contracts with CSC for the North, Midlands and East of England, with BT in London and parts of the South of England, and the Southern Local Clinical Systems programmes.
The LSP contracts deliver critical systems and services to the NHS. They are used by 490,000 NHS staff in 256 NHS trusts across England. Download a full list of services (PDF, 213.7kB) deployed by LSP delivery.
The LSP delivery team supports successful delivery during the remaining life of the contracts, by working closely with suppliers and NHS trusts. Work is also underway to support a smooth transition once the existing contracts come to an end.
The Southern Local Clinical Systems (SLCS) Programmes within the LSP Delivery team are supporting the collaborative procurement of new clinical IT systems on behalf of local NHS trusts in the south of England. These include Community and Child Health, Ambulance and Acute trust systems.
Overall responsibility and accountability for LSP contracts rests with the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO) at the Department of Health.
As the Department's delivery partner, the LSP team at the HSCIC supports delivery against the contracts in place and supports the SRO in working with trusts to create the right environment to enable the realisation of benefits.
